Fresh Starts and Refreshed Lengths

New Years is always a great starting line, and birthdays are wonderful for marking new chapters, but I'm also feeling like life post-quarantine is also a time for reinvention.

With so much (forced) hair neglect, there is going to be a BIG need for deep conditioning treatments to get our hair back to what it was pre-pandemic.

When we reopen, Style Haus Salem will be upgrading our deep conditioning treatments and offering BRAND NEW treatments to our guests!

Level One: Pulp Riot Santa Clara Treatment Mask

If you are a current color client, every visit includes this treatment as part of your visit. It's the love that's on your hair while you're enjoying your hot towel aromatherapy experience.

If you're haircut only client, this will be a new experience for you! Santa Clara is a vegan/cruelty-free, gluten-free, and sulfate-free with an ultra-low pH designed to seal down your cuticle. This creates soft, shiny, healthy hair that won't be weighed down. Santa Clara is a progressive treatment, the more you do it, the healthier your hair becomes (otherwise results last one shampoo).

Truss Net Mask & K-Recovery Treatment

The next level of treatment is straight out of Brazil. Color clients often opt to upgrade to this conditioning treatment, and HOOOOOO BOY does it smell heavenly!

This is an ultra-hydrating (vegan) keratin and collagen treatment for your hair that restores elasticity, strength, and shine. First the Net Mask is applied to wet hair and left to condition for 5-10 minutes (depending on damage). After a thorough towel dry, the K-Recovery Treatment is applied and blown dry directly into the hair, results last up to 3 shampoos.

This service adds 15 minutes to your overall appointment time, it's important to select this menu option when booking your appointment online.

NEW SERVICE ALERT

Redkin HeatCure Professional In-Salon Treatment

This brand new service is the holy grail of deep conditioning treatments; I've been in the process of vetting treatments since last Christmas, and I can honestly say I've been blow away by how my repair this has done for my long, over-processed hair!

First, the hair will be treated to a delicious, grapefruit-scented clarifying shampoo. After being thoroughly towel-dried, the Redkin HeatCure Formula is liberally applied to the hair.

Then -- and this is where it gets a little weird -- the formula is ironed into damp hair using the Redkin HeatCure Professional Tool. This flatiron-looking piece of equipment only heats to 140 degrees, the ideal temperature to open the hair cuticle and attach this fume-free formula directly into the cortex!

Afterwards, there's one last stop at the shampoo bowl where your hair is thoroughly rinsed out and ready to be styled. This treatment leaves your hair so soft and shiny and frizz-free (even when air dried) for 7-10 shampoos. Not days. Shampoos.

Curious about the process? Here's a quick video of me doing this to myself during the quarantine.

You can see how shiny it leaves my hair during the process, and in no way is there any fumes being released like those keratin treatments of old. At the end that's my product-free, easily-knotted frizzy hair being left to air dry...I can totally glide my fingers through my tangle-free curls, and I've never seen my natural texture look so pretty!

Depending on hair length and density, this service can last up to 30 minutes; if you're interested, be sure to add on this treatment to your existing appointment when booking.

As my welcome back give to Style Haus Salem, I am offering all three levels of deep conditioning treatments at 20%! Take advantage of one of these, I promise your hair will thank you!

Other Treatments

After becoming a partner with the dpHUE line, I started exploring their options other than root regrowth solutions. And what I can say is that you have not lived until you've experienced a treatment with their ACV line. If you're a hair extension client and/or an infrequent shampooer, this treatment has you name written all over it!

ACV Exfoliating Cleanse & Rebalance

This service starts with the experience of a lifetime -- a scalp massage using the ACV Scalp Scrub! Both fine and coarse-grain Pink Himalayan Sea Salt naturally exfoliates the scalp, removing product build-up, impurities, and dead skin cells. This color-protecting formula uses apple cider vinegar, aloe vera, and avocado oil to re-balance pH and to soothes sensitive or irritated scalps.

Afterwards you'll be shampooed and treated to the ACV Hair Masque: a progressive treatment that uses smart (vegan) proteins specifically target and attach themselves to the most damaged areas of the hair's surface, without weighing hair down. This masque is made with apple cider vinegar, rosehip oil, avocado oil, and coconut oils -- all rich in essential fatty acids.

Finally you'll be rinsed out with their ACV Hair Rinse, which cleanses and removes hair impurities without stripping color or the natural oils that are essential to the health of your scalp and hair. The ACV Hair Rinse is designed to be gentle, lock in color, and strengthen hair.

As always these products have been vetted and are vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free, sulfate-free, paraben-free, pthalate-free, and silicone-free.

This new service is great for color and non-color clients alike!

Olaplex In-Salon Treatment

Don't forget about this treatment -- it's a classic for a reason! Much more high-powered than maintenance Olaplex No 3 home treatment, this layers the salon-only strength of Olaplex No 1 and No 2 for a highly reparative result. Plus you get an Olaplex No 3 to take home to ensure bond-building and further repair work can happen as often as possible.

Add this 30-minute service to a deep conditioning treatment to get the maximum benefit from both!

$75

Got questions? Feel free to ask away. I can't wait to see you, and to show you all of the new services I'm got ready to welcome you back!
